Amid the rumors of marital issues with Ben Affleck and her spiraling career with her heavily criticized recent projects along with a canceled tour, Jennifer Lopez is now reportedly concerned about the return of her ‘career-long’ rival, Jessica Alba.

Both actresses recently starred in their respective Netflix movies, Atlas and Trigger Warning. However, sources have revealed that the Marry Me star is not very eager to share the space with Alba, who allegedly plans to continue her collaboration with the streaming giant.
Jessica Alba is Serious About Her Acting Comeback
Jessica Alba recently made her comeback almost five years after her last film Killers Anonymous in a Netflix project, Trigger Warning. The film follows her as a skilled Special Forces officer who finds herself at odds with a local gang after she returns to her hometown to take over her late father’s bar.

Despite the film’s negative reception, Trigger Warning made it to Netflix’s Top 10. And new reports suggest that the 43-year-old actress is serious about her comeback. “Jessica knows exactly what she’s doing,” a source claimed.
As per Life & Style,
She has been very clear to everybody she does business with that she is serious about rebooting and reigniting her acting career and playing on the early 2000s nostalgia craze while she’s at it.

Amid her break from acting, the actress has been focused on her family and her business, The Honest Company, which she co-founded in 2011. Recently, she has stepped down from her role as Chief Creative Officer of the company, indicating a genuine intent to return to acting.
However, the success of Alba’s action thriller film and her alleged plans to return to acting has become a concerning issue for Jennifer Lopez, who also recently starred in the Netflix film Atlas.
Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Feels Threatened by Jessica Alba’s Acting Comeback
Jennifer Lopez has constantly been in conversation for both her personal and professional life recently. Her failed attempt with This is Me Now or the rumored troubles in her relationship with Ben Affleck, have cast a shadow over her career.
Amidst this turmoil, sources suggest that one bright spot for The Mother star has been her success in streaming movies, especially with the Netflix project, Atlas.

The sci-fi film starring Lopez follows a data analyst, with a deep distrust of AI, on a mission to capture a renegade robot that goes awry. Despite negative reviews, the film reached Netflix’s Top 10 list in 93 countries.
“Jennifer has one good thing going for her right now and that’s been her success in streaming movies, especially on Netflix,” a source told Life & Style. They also claimed that Alba aims to achieve similar success on Netflix.
And it has reportedly raised some serious issues for the Shotgun Wedding star, including concerns about being excluded from future projects on the streaming platform.

Jennifer is right to be concerned because Jessica has her own relationship with the top boss at Netflix, Ted Sarandos, and the plan is clearly to make as many more J. Lo-style movies as they can, even without J. Lo.
Sources also mentioned a “career-long rivalry” between the two actresses, and that it has intensified with their current competition on Netflix. Despite these claims, Alba has expressed appreciation and admiration for Lopez.
Atlas and Trigger Warning are available to stream on Netflix.
