James Bond is an iconic cinematic character portrayed by many actors, including Pierce Brosnan, who had the honor to embody the character in four films from 1995 to 2002. However, the actor’s behavior in a resurfaced interview is painting him in a negative light.

Brosnan joined Conan O’Brien on his late-night talk show to promote his 1997 film Dante’s Peak. However, fans find the actor’s behavior arrogant and dismissive, particularly after he interrupted the show host, which sparked strong reactions.
James Bond Star Pierce Brosnan Interrupted Conan O’Brien
Known for portraying the role of James Bond, Pierce Brosnan joined the late-night talk show host, Conan O’Brien to promote his 1997 action adventure film Dante’s Peak.

The conversation, initially centered on the film and Brosnan’s charismatic persona, which later shifted to his iconic role as Bond. Brosnan shared the perks of playing the character, sharing that he received a silver BMW with special features.
“I get tube socks from the local Deli,” the show host humorously interjected before adding, “I wish I were you.” However, the interview took a slightly awkward turn when Brosnan remarked on Conan O’Brien’s talkativeness.
Interrupting the actor by turning to the self-co-host Andy Richter, Brosnan said, “He’s talkative, isn’t he?” The actor further went on to add, “I’m glad you’re talking, man.”

The aura subtly shifted, with the host saying, “Yeah, I chatter away,” acknowledging the nature of the talk show and smoothly continuing the conversation.
However, the GoldenEye star’s interview sparked discussion among Redditors, who have expressed disappointment with the actor’s demeanor towards O’Brien.
Fans Express Disappointment With Pierce Brosnan’s Cold Behavior
With the interview circulating on Reddit, many users on the platform have found his behavior during the interview rude and cold towards the talk show host.

“He seemed pissed with Conan’s shtick,” one user said, adding that it is very rare to see an actor calling out the talk show host for such reasons. Others also joined the conversation, adding that it does not portray the actor in a good light, saying,
I feel like Brosnan comes off as incredibly full of himself here, like he thinks he’s just too cool for the room. Not a good look.
Many other users also agreed, calling the actor “pompous,” arguing that he appears full of himself and remains arrogant despite Conan O’Brien’s efforts to keep the conversation going.

While some presumed that the actor didn’t really want to be on the show, others also argued in his favor, saying that he could be frustrated as the host didn’t let him talk much. One user said,
I’m a huge Conan fan, but he didn’t give Pierce a lot of space to talk here. He kept barreling over him to get jokes in, I imagine Pierce felt frustrated.
However, despite the unpleasant interaction, neither Brosnan nor O’Brien are known to have had any issues or feuds. Brosnan has continued to make appearances on O’Brien’s late-night talk show since then.
