Earlier, Hollywood star Ben Affleck’s representative denied any possibility of a romance between the actor and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s daughter Kick Kennedy.
Kick Kennedy is one of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s six children and also has a few acting credits to her name. The two were rumored to be involved after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from the Justice League actor, listing April 26, 2024, as their date of separation.
However, the actor’s spokesperson has debunked such claims, stating, “There is no truth to any of it. I don’t know if they even know each other,” as per People.
However, the rumors intensified, with claims that they had dated before Affleck rekindled his relationship with JLo. New reports, however, now state that the actor is now attempting to “erase” Kennedy from his life, fearing it could negatively affect his divorce.
An insider told the Daily Mail,
He is trying to pull the “I don’t know her” card but what he failed to realize is that they weren’t the only two people in the world that knew that they used to hook up, or that they were hanging out again.
The insider also claimed that the Argo star’s attempt to completely distance himself from Kennedy, was not fair towards her, arguing that it would have been better if he had remained silent.
Ben Affleck is Concerned Romance Rumors Could Harm His Divorce Proceedings
With the insiders claiming that Ben Affleck is trying to distance himself from Kick Kennedy, they also stated that the actor is worried that his rumored romance with Kennedy could potentially affect his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
“He fears that this will affect his divorce,” the insider told the Daily Mail before adding, “Even though there was no overlap, saying he didn’t even know her was not the right move.”
Prior reports have stated that the Marry Me star is deeply upset by the rumors that Affleck has been spending time with Kennedy in recent weeks. “It’s really hit her hard,” sources told People, adding that Lopez is “very upset and disappointed with Ben.”
Additionally, they also claimed that the Oscar winner is very uncomfortable with the constant media attention, especially when his name is linked to political figures or controversial topics.
While it has been emphasized that Affleck and Kennedy were not involved during his marriage to Lopez, the two reportedly reconnected soon after the celebrity couple’s split. Kennedy has not said anything about their relationship, as she reportedly prefers to keep her private life out of the spotlight.
