Known for his infectious humor and charismatic presence, Chris Pratt has always been a fan favorite, from portraying the lovable Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation to his rise to incredible heights since then with roles in major franchises like the MCU and Jurassic World.

However, in a resurfaced blooper from the popular sitcom, Pratt appeared to have crossed a line with his comedic flair, as the actor decidedly makes an NSFW joke about Kim Kardashian, referencing her s*x tape.
Chris Pratt’s Controversial NSFW Kim Kardashian Joke in Parks and Recreation Blooper
Before he took on the iconic role of Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt was known for his role as Andy Dwyer, the shoe-shiner at Pawnee City Hall, on the sitcom Parks and Recreation.

While he was intended to be a temporary character on the show initially, his popularity prompted the showrunners to make him a regular cast member, where he gained recognition for his improvisational skills.
However, not all of his ad-libs were well-received. During a brainstorming session featured in a blooper from the show’s fourth season, Pratt made an inappropriate joke about socialite Kim Kardashian, referencing her s*x tape.
While discussing comeback stories in the blooper, Chris Pratt’s character, Andy, shocks his teammates by mentioning the SKIMS founder and making an inappropriate NSFW joke about her. The comment left his co-stars stunned.

Pratt was aware of the joke’s inappropriateness and requested that the blooper not be included in any future DVD gag reels. Despite his request, the clip eventually surfaced online and has since become one of the show’s most popular bloopers.
Pratt later reflected on his comments, expressing regret and admitting that the incident made him so uncomfortable that he even tried to avoid Kardashian in public.
Chris Pratt Expressed Regrets Inappropriate Kim Kardashian Joke
In a 2015 GQ cover story, Pratt reflected on his inappropriate joke about Kim Kardashian. The actor shared the discomfort he feels about making jokes at other people’s expense while expressing his regrets.
I don’t like to make jokes at other people’s expense if I can help it — I like to keep my jokes about people safely way behind their backs. I’m a shit-talker, but if I’m gonna make a joke at someone’s expense, I’ll do it so that they can never hear it.

Pratt expressed disappointment that the joke was not removed and he was later told that they had forgotten about his request. “So it’s really kind of a bummer,” he said before adding, “She probably doesn’t know or doesn’t care.”
The actor, who had briefly worked with The Kardashians star in the 2009 film Deep in the Valley, also shared that knowing she might be aware of the joke made him uncomfortable. He even admitted hoping she wouldn’t notice him when they once crossed paths on an airplane.
Parks and Recreation is available to watch on Peacock.
