However, not everyone shares the same view of the actor, as the WWE star Dominik Mysterio, recently took a jab at Johnson’s film career, calling his feature film debut in The Mummy Return his only good work so far. It could be a risky move for Mysterio, especially with The Rock now positioning himself as WWE’s Final Boss.

His surprise appearance, positioning him as the final boss, has led to speculations about his significant involvement in upcoming storylines, including the Survivor Series: WarGames event.

While his potential return to the event has received a warm response from fans, wrestling star Dominik Mysterio doesn’t appear too thrilled, as appeared from his response.

When asked about The Rock’s comeback during a signing event for Fanatics Live, Mysterio took a jab at the WWE icon, stating, “The only thing The Rock has done that’s ever been good is The Mummy 2.”

While it could be a risky move on his side, given that The Rock may now have Mysterio in his sights as he takes on The Final Boss persona.

However, his recent remarks have sparked a debate among fans and critics of the Jumanji star, especially in regard to his Hollywood career, with many questioning if he has ever starred in a genuinely good movie.

Dominik Mysterio’s Jabs Ignite Debate Over Dwayne Johnson’s Acting Career

Dominik Mysterio’s remarks at the WWE and Hollywood star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson have sparked a debate over whether he has truly delivered any noteworthy performances in his acting career.

And while some came in his support, many social media users quickly chimed in with their own sarcastic remarks. One X (Twitter) user responded to Mysterio’s remarks, stating,

As much as I despise Dom for turning on Mami — he’s 1000% right. When has the Rock ever been in a movie that was actually good?

Others even went on to make claims like, “He’s NEVER been in anything good aside from WWE LOL.” However, The Rock also has his defenders, with some warning that Mysterio’s comments could land him in trouble, especially now that Johnson has positioned himself as The Final Boss.

However, this is not the first time, the 27-year-old wrestler has taken aim at The Rock. Earlier this year, he mocked him with a side-eye meme when The Rock proclaimed himself the biggest heel in wrestling on X (Twitter).

While The Rock has not addressed his antics, the 27-year-old WWE star has drawn comparisons to the Red Notice actor, particularly from Mark Henry during his appearance on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio. “I put him in the same category as The Rock and the Harts and people that come from pro wrestling,” he said.

Mark Henry argued that Mysterio’s talent appears to be intuitive rather than solely the result of training. He also credited his skills, his upbringing, and the influence of his father, Rey Mysterio, as well as the lessons learned from observing the wrestling industry, which he believes will serve him well in the ring.
